Survey for Youth Workers

posted 24 Jan 2018, 19:15 by June Miller, MCA Communications
Attention Youth Workers

The 2011 Hemorrhaging Faith study found that, for Christian youth adults, major life transitions were often transitions out of the church and faith
. A major new study is being conducted looking at the transition of Christian young adults from high school to the next phase in life and how churches and ministries can help young adults maintain their connections to church and faith.

The last data collection phase of this Young Adult Transition Research (YATR) study includes a survey about how those who minister with youth and young adults are supporting them across this transition. If you minister directly or indirectly with youth or young adults, in either a paid or volunteer capacity, would you please take 15 minutes now to complete this anonymous survey? Those who complete the survey will have an opportunity to enter a draw for an iPad mini 4 (128 GB, Wi-Fi). A free, public, national report dealing with aggregate data will be published within 6 months of the close of the survey. Would you please also pass this invitation on to others who do ministry with youth or young adults?

At the end of the survey you will be given an opportunity to give the researchers explicit permission to share your anonymized responses with [us]. This is optional, but should you choose to give this permission, it would give us valuable data about our [denomination or student ministry].

You can read more about the study here.
