Prayer Concerns
Please pray for our operations team as they continue planning for new projects in Florida and Texas and their continued evaluation of Puerto Rico.
We are grateful for a well-received pastor resource day facilitated by MDS for Mennonite pastors in Puerto Rico in mid-November.
Continue to remember those impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the MDS volunteer teams responding in the areas of Victoria County, Baytown and the Coastal Bend area of Texas.

Also keep in prayer the volunteers in as they transition to long-term response after Hurricane Irma.

Remember in prayer all the continuing projects MDS.

Your Gifts at Work
Thank you to those who made a donation to MDS yesterday for #GivingTuesday! We are honored to receive these gifts and put them to work through hardworking volunteers and bring disaster survivors home again.
MDS received just over $24,000, which will support volunteers at a recovery project for about 6 weeks. On average, that has the potential to bring 6 families affected by disaster back to a safe and clean home!

Director's Blueprint

As the title of this section states ‘Director’s Blueprint’ suggesting that plans are in place for building.  Blueprints often solicit questions of clarity and purpose. So, I take this time and space to solicit questions you would have of me and Mennonite Disaster Service. I welcome your questions. I may not get a chance to answer all of them – but it helps us set a direction and provide clarity. Can I hear from you?
