A final weekend event November 1 & 2 What are the outcomes, key learnings, opportunities, and action plans that will guide us as a church into 2020 and beyond? | Where do we go from here? After a year-long process, it's time to incarnate the vision. Vision 20/20 has led us to a three-year plan as Tim described in his article, Christ's Body, Living Stones: A Vision 20/20 Reflection. Year One: Encountering, Embracing, Embodying Christ in Life
Year Two: Encountering, Embracing, Embodying Christ in Community
Year Three: Encountering, Embracing, Embodying Christ in the World
![]() The Background
Mennonite Church Alberta has initiated a conversation to listen for how God is calling the church today and to allow this listening to deepen the life and work of the church. We also want to renew ourselves in our commitment to one another as Mennonite Church Alberta. We pray that our conversation will open our community of faith to listening deeply for God’s leading and that in so doing, we will grow in becoming who God is creating us to be.
Reference Group: Tim Wiebe-Neufeld, Kate Janzen, Debbie Baergen, Paul Neufeldt, June Miller, and Tracey Brown-Ewert.
Congregational leader and pastors from all MCA churches are encouraged to participate. General Council recognizes, however, that steps may need to be taken to work around any language or cultural barriers. It is vital that each church is represented in this process.
